The wontons were surprisingly really big and filling, very yummy! The broth was rich and flavorful. I wish I was hungrier so I could've tried more things off their menu

I recently visited Mr. Dragon Noodle House and had an amazing experience! First off, the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was absolutely incredible. The broth was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the beef was tender and delicious. It's definitely a must-try for anyone who loves a good spicy kick. Next, I had the Popcorn Chicken, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was spot-on, making it a great appetizer or snack. I couldn't get enough of it! Lastly, the Juicy Dumplings were a highlight of my meal. They were filled with savory goodness and had a delightful, tender wrapper. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and they paired perfectly with the dipping sauce provided. Overall, Mr. Dragon Noodle House exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes. Highly recommend!

After living away from the 626 for years now, my husband and I have been craving dumplings and beef rolls and noodles that don't cost an arm and a leg because while living in San Diego has been amazing, the Asian food is definitely lacking in taste and overpriced on top of it. I have been hearing about Mr. Dragon Noodle House for quite awhile now and finally was able to try it recently on a visit back to the area. I'll have to preface this review by warning everyone that this really is a no frills, eat and get out type of place. It's a small restaurant with a big following and so they try to turn tables over quickly. So if you're looking for a place to catch up with old friends over a meal like we were, this probably isn't the place. But having worked in food service before, we get it. It is what it is. Now onto the food.... We ordered many different dishes -- the soup dumplings, potstickers, beef rolls, spicy dumplings, beef noodle soup, and pan fried dumplings. Everything was super tasty and the beef noodle soup really hit the spot for me despite how hot it was outside (and inside the restaurant to be fair). I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about any of the food. It's definitely not Din Tai Fung quality but it's also not Din Tai Fung prices. They were just all simple and delicious dishes done right. We'll likely be back in the future, but will probably have to come during off hours to avoid feeling rushed during our meal.

There's so much competition for the best Taiwanese beef noodle soup in the SGV, and I have been wanting to try Mr. Dragon Noodle House for a while. This places lives up to the hype. Located in a strip mall next to McDonald's, you wouldn't really notice this restaurant from the outside, but with the constant influx of customers, you know this has to be good. The food: 1. Panfried pork baos - super crispy bottom, and the bao skin was not too thick. It didn't burst with juice like Kang Kang's, but still really tasty. 2. Pork Potstickers - juicy and crispy. Truly potstickers, as the order comes with the dumplings stuck together. 3. House Special Beef Noodle Soup - large, tender slices of beef, Al dente noodles, soup flavor was spot on. 4. Cold Seaweed - has a bit of a kick, which I love. Compliments the dishes perfectly. 5. Pork Ramen - noodles were Al dente, pork slices were tender. Broth was tasty, but I wouldn't call it authentic Tonkotsu broth. Love this place, definitely coming back for more must have items on the menu like the popcorn chicken!
